RJ Risueño is a bilingual speech-language pathologist and PhD candidate at Arizona State University. His clinical and research interests center on improving academic outcomes for children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and developmental language disorder. He has been the recipient of various awards, including the Distinguished Early Career Professional Certificate from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. His favorite book is The Little Prince by Antonie de Saint-Exupéry.
In his free time, R.J. is probably swimming, biking, or running as he trains for his next triathlon.
